Who We Are
Raje Potdar & Associates LLP is a firm of Chartered Accountants established with the objective of advising businesses at the intersection of regulatory requirements, business operations and strategic decision-making.
What distinguishes the firm is the breadth of experience its founding partners bring. Mr. Raje has spent the substantial part of his career working within corporate organisations — including multinational enterprises — in leadership and board-level roles, before moving into advisory practice. Ms. Potdar has built her practice with deep, hands-on exposure to business processes and operations across the organisations she has worked with, bringing an understanding that goes well beyond conventional advisory engagement. Together, this combination gives the firm both direct corporate experience and the depth of independent advisory practice.
With over three decades of combined experience across governance, foreign trade, taxation, disputes and corporate legal matters, the firm supports Indian and multinational organisations in navigating complex domestic and international regulatory environments — bringing judgement that comes from having sat on both sides of the table.
Having worked on both sides — within corporates and in advisory roles — we understand how businesses operate, where risks actually arise, and how compliance must integrate with commercial reality. Our approach is preventive as much as reactive — we advise on compliant, risk-free business practices, highlight potential pitfalls, and ensure that contracts, structures and processes are built to avoid future disputes.
We believe that good governance is not created through documentation alone. Effective governance requires structures, controls and decision-making frameworks that work in practice and support business objectives.
